Data Deletion Instructions

You can remove HMW Social's access to your Facebook and Instagram data, and ask us to delete the data we hold, at any time. There are two steps.

Step 1. Remove HMW Social from your Facebook account

1. On Facebook, open Settings & privacy, then Settings.
2. Go to Business Integrations (under Security and login or Apps and websites).
3. Find HMW Social and choose Remove.
4. Tick the option to delete posts, photos and videos that HMW Social published on your behalf if you also want those removed from your Page, then confirm.

Or, while logged in, press Disconnect on our connect page. That revokes every permission you granted us immediately.

Step 2. Ask us to delete the data we hold

Email hello@howmindswork.org with the subject Data deletion request. Please include your name and the name of the Facebook Page you connected so we can find your records.

What happens next

• We reply to confirm we received your request, normally within 3 business days.
• We delete your stored account data, including the access tokens, Page and Instagram identifiers, your content library and performance figures, within 30 days.
• We email you a confirmation when it is done. Records we are required by law to keep (for example invoices) are kept only for that purpose.
