This guide covers our Instagram Login tools. The Instagram account used for testing must be a professional business or creator account with permission to access this app during review.
- Start signed out. Click Connect with Instagram. Complete Instagram's login, select the account, and grant the four requested permissions.
- Profile and posts. Overview displays the selected account. Posts and Comments displays that account's media. Load older posts fetches the next page.
- Comments. Select a dedicated test post. Read its comments, reply publicly, and verify the reply in Instagram. Hide/unhide and delete controls act on the selected comment.
- Messages. Send a fresh inbound Instagram message from a second existing account to the connected professional account. Open Inbox, select the conversation, type a reply, and click Send message. Verify the identical message in the second account's Inbox or Requests.
- Publishing. In Create post, upload your own JPEG photo or MP4 video and enter a caption. Click Publish to Instagram. Wait for processing, then open the returned Instagram link. This publishes a real post.
- Settings. Inspect the account connection and live-alert subscription. Disconnect removes the stored account token and this browser's connection.
HMW automation demonstration
The owner account @howmindswork_ also has a server-side keyword service. Open Auto-DMs to see the live FBTEST rule and exact message. From another existing account, comment FBTEST on a recent HMW post. Wait for the message, show it in Instagram, and refresh the delivery-attempt log. Do not use an old comment or assume an accepted send means the recipient has seen it.
This unattended engine is currently configured for HMW only. Reviewer/customer accounts can use the manual Inbox and private-reply tools; client unattended automations are not enabled yet. A poll-driven delivery is identified as polling, not an instant webhook.
Recording tip: Rehearse with the manual Inbox send. Save the FBTEST comment for the recorded take. The production worker prevents repeat keyword/message deliveries, so repeatedly posting the same test word is not a fresh test.
Privacy and account access
Use your own authorized test account. We do not provide personal Facebook/Instagram passwords or session cookies. Meta approval for public customer access is still pending. Facebook Page tools use a separate Facebook Login flow and are not demonstrated by the Instagram Login guide.
